Monark Successfully Launches Mining Forum in Davao City |

Monark Equipment recently held the first Mining Forum at the Waterfront Insular Hotel, Davao City. The event was attended by 30 customers representing 14 mining companies in the region. Attendees included Top Management and representatives from operations such as maintenance, operations, project management and administration.
The Mining Forum was designed to provide mining companies information needed in running a mine site. The topics mirrored the agenda presented in other mining forums but included talks on operations, maintenance and product line. Monark engaged some its mining customers like TVI and SMI to provide insights on their operations to the other guests. The company also partnered with the Mines and Geosciences Bureau and the Mindanao Business Council to provide the guests an update on projects and local governance issues.
The seminar started with the presentation of the Ground Rules Video. Lunch was temporarily put on hold as the participants and Feliece Yeban, TVI’s VP for Corporate Social Commitments engaged in a discussion on Community Relations issues.
The guests found the seminar useful and asked for a repeat next year. They expressed appreciation for the topics, speakers and even commented “Keep up the good work”, “I'm satisfied with this forum.”
